The team at Topix created algorithms that collected news from over 50,000 sources and it also kept a close watch if there were any breaking news that needed an un-demanded attention 24 hours of a day. These algorithms were so efficient that it collected news that was freshly released and categorised them into the sections it belonged to and placed them there, with news being so fresh and piping hot, millions of individuals soon started frequenting the website and became loyal Topix members.
